Terms of use, privacy statement, and compliance disclosures for Bro-Fi.

Terms of use

Bro-Fi lets you upload audio files, build playlists, and share them with other people through a link or QR code. By using Bro-Fi you agree to the points below.

  • Your content, your responsibility. Only upload music, artwork, and other files you own or have permission to share. You keep ownership of what you upload; you grant Bro-Fi permission to store and deliver it so your playlists work.
  • No infringing or unlawful use. Do not use Bro-Fi to distribute copyrighted material without rights, malware, or unlawful content. We may remove content or disable access to keep the service working.
  • Shared links are public. Anyone with a playlist link or QR code can open, stream, and download the tracks in it. Treat a shared link as public.
  • Service provided as is. Bro-Fi is offered without warranties of any kind. Availability, storage, and features may change, and uploads are not a backup — keep your own copies of your files.
  • Age requirement (13+). Bro-Fi is not intended for children under 13. Creating an account requires entering a date of birth and confirming you are 13 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13; if we learn that an account belongs to a child under 13, it will be removed along with its data. A parent or guardian who believes a child under 13 has provided information can contact the Bro-Fi operator to request deletion.
  • Accounts. Keep your sign-in details secure. You can stop using the service at any time.

Privacy statement

What Bro-Fi handles when you use it:

  • Account information — your email address (and Google account email if you sign in with Google) so you can log in and manage your playlists.
  • Playlist content — the audio files, artwork, titles, and metadata you upload.
  • Playlist activity — events such as playlist views, track plays, downloads, and QR shares, so creators can see how their playlists are being used. Where a listener provides an email address, it can be linked to those events.
  • On-device storage — if you install the app or enable offline caching, tracks and playlist data are stored locally on your device. You can clear this at any time from the Offline storage section.

Bro-Fi does not sell your data and does not use it for advertising. Data is stored using third-party hosting, database, and storage providers used to run the service.

To request access to or deletion of your account data, contact the Bro-Fi operator using the email address associated with your account.

Compliance disclosure

Bro-Fi is not HIPAA compliant and is not SOC 2 certified. No third-party audit, attestation, or certification has been completed for this service.

Bro-Fi is a consumer music-sharing app. Do not use it to upload, store, or transmit protected health information (PHI), medical records, patient data, or any other regulated or highly sensitive information. No Business Associate Agreement (BAA) is available.

Bro-Fi also makes no claim of GDPR, CCPA, COPPA, FedRAMP, ISO 27001, or PCI DSS certification. If your use case requires a formally audited or certified platform, Bro-Fi is not a suitable choice.

These terms and this privacy statement are provided by the Bro-Fi operator for transparency and are not legal advice.
